Getting toddlers to eat enough is a challenge. In such a scenario it is best to pack in the most calories in foods that the child can easily eat and are also nutritionally dense. One way to do this is by offering babies and toddlers foods that use minced meat. These easy chicken and vegetable patties are perfect for baby-led weaning and for picky toddlers.
They contain grated cabbage and zucchini, both of these vegetables are neutral in flavor and allow the chicken to be the hero of the dish.
Adding some ground flaxseed provides essential omega 3’s needed by growing brains.
You can change up the flavor profile by adding other vegetables of your choice like carrot or peas and even add spices that you prefer. That is the beauty of this recipe, it’s quite adaptable to your family tastes.
